How was your Labor Day weekend?

Mine was full of family, puppies, food, and laughter.

Just like I like it.

Maybe

Maybe I spent my 4th of July packing.

Maybe I didn't cook anything red, white, or blue.

Maybe I didn't see one single firework.

Maybe I didn't play with sparklers.

Maybe I stayed at home with husband, snuggled on the couch watching Lie to Me.

Maybe we snacked on ice cream and toppings leftover from our wedding.

Maybe it's lame.


But I think it was perfect.

*I did, however, dress in redwhiteandblue and husband and I enjoyed a small cookout with another church family. I completely forgot to take pictures. Agh!
