life.

(Just for giggles. This was Halloween 2 years ago. I've always been told I have a Cindy-Lou Who nose. I finally decided to embrace it! Husband was Abe Lincoln and Bailee had a little Jockey strapped to her!)

Well, I realized that it has been...
oh, forever
since I've written any details about the craziness of this life!

Husband and I left Sneads and moved to little ole' Graceville.
Husband has a semester and a half left to finish his B.A. degree (wooo!)
so we decided to stop life and focus on that!

I am working at the college that he attends (Go BCF!)
I am the staff writer.
Press Releases are my life.

I love working here again.
(I worked with the President when I was student here...way back in '08!)
There are so many fond memories.
I mean, I met my future husband on this campus!
Happies.

My one and only bigger-than-me little brother is a student here.
Plus, our good friends from back home are students, also!
Which means my house= all boys.
But, it also means I get two extra brothers and I'm in charge (ha!)

Once Husband graduates, (finally!)
we will be putting his resume out everywhere.
I can't wait for next adventure and the little journeys in between.
As long as Husband is holding my hand, I'll go anywhere.

P.S. God is so good. Can I get an "amen"?

gtkY: Kelsey and Covey

Today's gtkY is Kelsey from Kelsey and Covey. Kelsey is a newlywed, soon-to-be college grad, and a health and wellness coach. Her lovely blog is full of amazing vintage style (can I please just shop your closet?!), adorable pictures of date nights that capture their love, and she  is constantly motivating me to stay in shape with her love of Zumba and Yoga
Here's Kelsey!

Why did you start your blog?  I started blogging when I got married, to document my life and to keep in touch with friends and family.
What is your name? (Or what do you wish you were named?) Kelsey Cole
When is your birthday?  March 30
Name 3 jobs you’ve had in your life.  I was a baker at Great Harvest (best job ever!), a dance teacher, and I am currently a health coach for students and faculty at my university.
If you could have ANY job, what would you do? I would be a personal trainer and a fitness instructor! I’m taking the first step this year by getting certified to teach Yoga and Zumba.
What are you most afraid of?  Zombies.  I know they are not real, but zombie movies scare the pants off me! The movie ‘I am Legend’ made me have nightmares for weeks.
What was your favorite item as a child?  American Girl Dolls
What are 3 movies you could watch over and over? Tangled, The Notebook, and Slumdog Millionaire
Your dream vacation would be…  Backpacking through Europe
What are 3 websites you visit daily? Twitter, Blogspot, and Lululemon.com
Must have snacks?  Green smoothies, pita/veggies with hummus, and fresh strawberries or blueberries.
Go-to outfit and hair?  Outfit:  leggings or skinnies, cute top with a blazer or cardi, long necklace, simple earrings, with boots or flats (depending on the weather). Hair: side pony. I wear this hair style way to much, but I love it!
Do you eat the stems of broccoli? Yes
  Favorite ice-cream?  Tart’ frozen yogurt
Favorite day of the week? Friday
What do you do most often when you are bored?  Pinterest!
What is your favorite board game?  Settlers of Catan (nerdy maybe?)
Favorite smell? I’m gonna change this one to current favorite perfume… which would be Beyonce’ Heat. Love it!
What’s under your bed? Shoes
Which useless superhero power do you wish you possessed? Probably the power to be super flexible like Elasta-girl from The Incredibles, because then I could do ANY yoga pose ever invented! That would be awesome.
If you could meet one person dead or alive, who would it be?  My great grandmother.

Isn't she adorable? For more awesomeness, check out her blog: Kelsey and Covey, and don't forget to "follow her!"

Joy Filled Friday

1 tax refunds (woo!) 2 buying 100 classical movies for 20bucks. (see picture above) 3 rainy days
4 eating out 5 brown nail polish (fave) 6 colored skinny jeans
7 good cries 8 quilts 9 red anything
10 chick-fil-a (this is probably a constant on my joys... I can't help it!)

This weekend will be much more slow paced than last! I love spending time with my in-loves! It was a much needed mini-vacay. We went shopping (new dress and shoes!) and got to see some friends at church. Even if I came home with a sickness, it was time well spent!
This weekend, however, we are chilling! Tomorrow morning the guys and I will head out to Tallahassee so I can kick their behinds in a fierce round of disc golf. No, seriously. Then, hopefully, some chick-fil-a will find its way into my belly. (Cause we all know how joy filled that makes me!)

Hope your weekends are filled with love and good food!

Olive Turns 1!

It's hard to believe that our babygirl is already 1 year old! I tried to remake our picture from the first day we got her, but she wasn't cooperating! Yes, that is the same dog. Grooming gone wrong. I was almost embarrassed to post those up, but it's her birthday...so what if she looks nothing like a schnauzer!

Our Olive brings such comic relief to us. Husband uses different voices for the puppies and I'm pretty sure he has nailed Olive's "voice." It sounds like a hyper-Eeyore (oxymoron?) For a while, we questioned whether Olive had a brain inside that cute fuzzy head of hers. She is a sloooooow learner. But, we love her the same. She loves to snuggle. All times. She has the amazing ability to fall asleep anywhere, at anytime, and over anything. A mama's girl for sure! She loves to sniff, put her precious paws on your face, and is a real big talker.

We sure do love our little girl (even more when she does her business outside, doesn't scream at people in the house, and doesn't eat all of Bailee's food!)

Happy Birthday!

She gets extra treats and cuddles today, for sure!

P.S. There has been a small break in gtkY, but I have more questions from bloggers rolling in, so watch for them on here next week!

Joy Filled Friday

1 being soda free for 3 weeks 2 weddings! 3 road trips with great company 4 wraps 5 the feeling of being sore, but knowing you did something worth it 6 reading for fun 7 TripleTown...addicted 8 heart-to-heart's with Husband 9 pinterest...addicted 10 Toms. Toms. Toms.

This weekend we are off to visit my in-loves!
When I say we, I mean, myself, Husband, Brother, Friends 1 and 2, plus puppies 1 and 2.
All crammed (with our luggage) in one tiny Honda Civic.
It could be worse, we could be taking my little red bug.
That'd be interesting.
Anyways, the reason for our travel is so exciting!
My brother-in-love (Husband's brother) is getting married in one month!
So, wedding shower for the soon-to-be Sister-in-love is top priority on the weekend agenda.
With the occasionally movie, disc golf, and a high school musical (not THE High School Musical), this weekend is sure to be a blast.

It's just what the doctor ordered. I lovelove getaways!

dates

A big fat thanks to all that left sweet words on my last blog.
Things are pretty hectic still, but as I am constantly reminded, God is in control!
Despite the craziness, Husband and I have been trying to go "out" as much as possible.
Last week we went out to the local drugstore for their old fashion milkshakes.
dee.lish.

Since I took a little break from blogging, I missed doing anything on here for Valentine's Day!
Soooo, you get to look at VDay pictures 2 days late.
Yay!

Husband woke up super early to go to work.
I woke up to let the puppies out and found this sitting on the couch!
I LOVE sock monkeys.
Probably more than normal people.
Husband got me a yellow striped one, it's perfect.

Then, when I went to get some milk, I found these!
A rose and some fruit!
Also, in my sock monkey's arms was a stuffed hedgehog.
I've been dropping hints like crazy that I wanted one, I even posted it on Facebook...
and even though this one's not real, it'll last me until I get one!

My gift to Husband, "52 Reasons Why I Love You." Thank-you, Pinterest!

Followed by some lobster ravioli, Dothan trip for desserts and shopping, we spent the rest of the night snuggled on the couch watching the newest Twilight (lamest movie ever...btw. Sorry if you're a fan!)

I wish everyday were Valentine's.
I'm okay with having a free pass to be obnoxiously in love and showering that all over everyone.
I think I'll continue doing that anyway!

P.S. I wanted to give a huge congrats to ALL (I mean all...it's in the air I think!) of my mommy-to-be blog friends.
I'm super excited for you guys.

blank...

There are about one million things running(no...stomping) in my head and I don't even know where to begin to start. Sometimes All the time, I have to stop myself from thinking I can only post happy/cheerful things on here. I want this blog to be a reflection of my life. My life is not always fun. I don't always have amazing days. I never really go out for awesome adventures, and I don't always have the coolest pictures.

I want things, but I don't know how to go about them.

I don't know how to write them.

So, it's all blank.

I'd like for this blog to take off...but how?
I'd like to have a full time job, that isn't teaching...but what?
I wish to be more financially stable...but how?
I want______...but when? How?

I draw up blanks.

Usually this is where I'd intervene with what God has shown me recently that applies to this struggle, but again...blank.

This is my cry:

I'm finding myself at a loss for words
And the funny thing is it's okay
The last thing I need is to be heard
But to hear what You would say
