Our Wedding: The Ceremony

Our wedding was at First Baptist Church of Sneads. Brandon is the youth pastor and we have served there together for over 2 years. It just seemed fitting to have our wedding take place there!

However, Sneads is about 8 hours away from my family and about 3 hours away from Brandon's! Regardless, we had such a good turn out and we're so thankful to those who made the drive! To everyone else, we know that you were there in spirit!

I wanted my father to perform the wedding, but I also wanted him to give me away. So, I asked Larry to perform the beginning part. Larry and Tracey have known my parents since they were in college and have been my second set of parents since I can remember! It was perfect to have them play such a big part in our day!

Our colors were black and white with some yellow thrown in at random places. I was going for a vintage picnic feel theme.
Enjoy!

My Mamaw passed away about a month before our wedding. She has made such an impact in my life, I couldn't imagine that day without her.

My mother and brother, aka: the "man" of honor.

Brandon's mother and brother.

There was not a dry eye in the place! All brothers, pastors, bridesmaids, and the groom himself was teared up!

I LOVE the look on my dad's face!

Our good friend Judson played Brandon Heath's, "Love Never Fails"

The pomanders I spent forever making!! They better be hanging in the middle of their rooms!!

  2. First of all you look gorgeous. Secondly, I swear our lives are SO similar. My family has to travel quite a distance for the wedding, his grandpa just passed away, and I'm probably going to use the ladder idea because I've been hunting for an idea of an alter for outside. I LOVE THIS! Excited for the rest of the pics.
